Here you go ! The show notes for the first podcast on Radio Interruptus !
A special thanks to Wes Reid for his Shout Out Sponsorship of Episode One. Wes sends the follow birthday greeting to his Nonny, Donna McIntyre…
” So the other day it was my Nonny’s birthday. I’m not sure what Nonny actually means, but I’ve been told it is the highest rank in the Scandinavian Marine Corps, a rank that demands respect and admiration, so we’ll stick with that definition since it’s pretty fitting. Although the exact number of sun cycles since Nonny breached her stasis pod is strictly confidential, you need only know that she is, indeed, out of the world. Happy D-day.”
Heather interviews Graham about a hostage taking incident at Luther College High School on September 23, 2008.

And to wrap things up Mark, Heather, Graham and Olivia play a Halloween Triva Quiz.

Brilliant show McReids! Great interview Graham and Heather…I learned much more about the incident and how it unfolded. Way to go Olivia for winning the trivia contest. I’m looking forward to the next podcast.
Wow…. somebody has too much time on their hands????
Awesome job… Now the review….
“I laughed…. I cried…. I went to Starbucks for coffee.
Radio will never be the same…
Huntley, Brinkley, Cronkite, Jennings…. and now the McReids.”
Great show, guys. It was lively and entertaining throughout. Wish I could have been there for the trivia quiz. (Olivia would still have won but I might have pipped Heather for second). Loved Wes’s birthday wish, with its Balderdashian echoes.
This premier broadcast/podcast was well produced and well presented. I look forward to enjoying many more.
This is such a fun idea!
Congrats to you guys on getting this up and running.
Next time I want to come over for trivia. I totally could have schooled Olivia.
What a wonderful Saturday morning coffee show! You guys are brilliant! Where were all the, “um”s and “ah”s that would have been there had I been talking?!
Heather’s interview with Graham made me cry. I can’t imagine one of my kids having to experience a situation like that. Well, described, Graham.
Good thing I wasn’t participating in the Hallowe’en trivia game ~ my score would have been the WORST!
Excellent effort you guys. Will look foward to more good stuff!
Cheers!
